Pegasus Horse Feed sells horse feed packs. These packs come on four main sizes based on the activity level of your horse, and the amount of natural pasture that your horse can access daily.
Pegasus Horse Feed is part of the ever growing Pegasus Equine Group and was started in 2019 to source consistent quality horse feed for the horses housed at Equus Farms and at the Equus Horse Rescue facilities. This same food is also used to feed our own horses. We supply hay, chaff, bagged feed for your horse, supplements and worming treatments. We are all about simple, easy to understand information, the best quality feed for your horse, and the best answers to your questions.

Pegasus Horse Feed specialises in horse feed. We don’t do dog kibble, or pig food, or chicken feed. We have put together our four packs of horse feeds, based on the three most common types of horse activity level (companion, light and moderate activity) and the access your horse has to natural pasture on a day to day basis. Plus a basic pack of hay and chaff. Quantities are based on 450 – 500 kgs of horse and follow the product makers recommendations for usage. You will get detailed instructions as to amounts of feed and regularity with your fortnightly delivery.
Each fortnight comprises 7 hay and roughage feeds and 7 hard feeds. Each hard feed is made up of a combination of chaff and bagged feed. If you select the Maestro pack (old or companion horse) your feed quantities will be based on approx. 7kgs of feed per day, and we will deliver this to your stable door every fortnight. Just to make sure you get off on the right hoof, we will also make sure that you get a feed bucket and a feed scoop with your first order. PLUS, we will make sure that you get salt to add to your mix each quarter. You can add extra supplements to your delivery order at any time, and these will be charged as you go directly from our online store (and will be delivered with your next order).
We charge you a weekly subscription rate for your selected pack, and deliver every fortnight. So, every fortnight you get a delivery of hay, or chaff, or bagged feed directly to your stable door. We deliver your horse feed, so you can spend your time riding your horse. If you need to adjust your pack - give us a call. If you want to change your bagged feed – we can give you a sample pack to try out. If you want to add hay during winter – we can organise that for you.
