The best quality feed, the best available price and the best impartial information for the feeding of your horse.
Pegasus Horse Feed is all about horses. Horse care, horse feed, horse wellbeing, horse happiness. In fact, it is so much about those things, that our entire business is only for horses. We don't do dogs, chickens or alpacas - they are for pet barns, and produce stores that are quite sure who they're customers are. But we believe that horse people are about horses. So, we are about simplifying the chore of horse feed. If you would rather drive around the country looking for the cheapest bale of hay, rather than ride your horse, than Pegasus Horse Feed probably isn't for you.
Oh, and to be clear, we love our dogs and chickens, but our horses are special.
Pegasus Horse Feed sells hay, chaff, bagged horse feed, horse supplements and worming pastes. We sell grassy hay, grassy lucerne (approx 50/50 mix) and lucerne hay. We can source barley hay, but mostly avoid the higher sugar grains. We sell barley chaff, oaten chaff, wheaten chaff and triple mix chaff. We sell bagged horse feeds from most of the major suppliers. We sell supplements including basics like salt, garlic, and rosehip; plus specialty blends such as Country Park. We also sell worming pastes. We don't hunt the bargain hay, but look for consistent quality and baling.
We sell horse feed, AND Pegasus Horse Feed sells a basic horse feed package that consists of a regular fortnightly delivery of hay (1-2 biscuits of hay x 14 biscuits per bale is two bales per fortnight per horse approx.) plus a bag of chaff per month (delivered at the start of each month), plus a bag of food per month (based on approx 500gms per serving daily for 500 kg horse in good condition). This costs around $99 per fortnight, delivered to your stable door!
Our customers are other horse owners, like us. Our customers need good quality food for their horses, just like we do. They have horses that are part of their family, just like we do. They want information that they can rely on. They want information that comes from facts rather than gossip. They want our horses to live long and happy lives.
